Teeth of a fossil fish found in a cave on the island Korčula

Our member Branko Jalžić was a part of a cave research team who is responsible for finding fossil fish teeth old at least 100 million years. The teeth were found in a cave called Borovčeva jama discovered recently this year in the downtown of Postrana, island of Korčula, Croatia. This fish probably lived in this area in the Cretaceous period and belongs to a group called bony fish.
